I thought that the event had a great quality of professional candidates.
The job fair had very qualified and viable candidates that were transitioning out of the military in a few months or 2020 looking at their options and get acclimated with contracting companies that might be out there. Alot of technical IT and cyberspace professionals that we connected with that could work on a few of our contracts and potential contracts we are bidding on. The only suggestion is to make it more comfortable temperature setting. The participants as well as the vendors were sweating throughout the event.
Great candidates
We were impressed by the volume and qualifications of the attendees. Since we look for candidates with a high level of security clearance our candidate pool is smaller at most events. Overall, we found value in participating in this event.

We really appreciated the quality of candidated that attended the event and believe it was marketed correctly for the employers who in this case are defense contractors. We also liked to see that about 80% of the candidates were cleared which is a priority screen for us.
Transition Careers captured all of the registered attendees personal resumes. This action is very helpful to follow-up and screen the attendees against the ones that visited our exhibit.
Transition Careers offered a secure environment, plenty of motivated and highly qualified candidates, and offered the opportunity to work with a great small business.

We find these career fairs to source candidates who are leaving the military and looking for opportunities to join a large organization. There is a big benefit for companies to attend local events as they can source candidates for their positions from family members who are looking for a position.
